It was a scary, gory, smelly zomby… uh zombie. It carried a dreadful, awful, frightful pumpkin. And it EXPLODED. The end.

Isn’t it the best horror story ever written? No?! Well I tried.

It seems some author are way better at giving you shivers than I am. So here a some suggestions of frightening stories for this time of the year where the frontier between the worlds of the living and the dead blend together.

Christmas always lights up imagination. Lots of writers, artists and filmmakers use this time of the year as a magical setting for great stories. Romance, comedy or mystery, the spirit of the season adds something special to any tale.
