When fans create works of art based on t.v. shows, movies, actors/actresses etc it is known as fan art. The art work can come in many different forms from drawings to web-based animations. With fan art becoming hugely popular people are creating wonderful art of people, shows, and movies that they love.

This type of art has been around for a while and there has been a Hugo Award each year since 1967 for Best Fan Artist!

Are you a creative teen between 12 and 18 who loves drawing your favourite character, musician, or celebrity? If you are then wouldn’t you love to enter our Fan Art Contest?

Drop off your submission at the Reader’s Services desk between August 10th – 22nd.
